To establish Rugby League as a nationally recognised and independent sport and sporting body in South Africa, uniting the nation through inclusive participation—regardless of race, gender, or age—across all provinces.

Mission Statement

To build a sporting organisation that reflects the needs and aspirations of the South African community.
To comply with all laws, rules, and regulations set forth by the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture in South Africa.
To contribute positively and meaningfully to the well-being of South African society through sport.

Goals

To equip all clubs—both elite and developing—with the fundamental tools and knowledge for sustainable growth, including a performance-based development model.
To grow participation in Rugby League at all levels, with a specific focus on grassroots development.
To develop a truly national team capable of competing at the highest international levels and positioning South Africa as a global Rugby League powerhouse.
To create and refine development pathways within an inclusive, whole-of-game structure.
To expand the supporter base by delivering impactful, community-driven initiatives.
To elevate the SARL brand, visibility, and reputation by increasing financial support and resources.
To secure national-level sponsorships for long-term sustainability.
