- Match 1: Pretoria Bulls made a fast start scoring 7 tries in the first half leading new commers to the rugby league half time 38 – 6. The second half was a much better performance by Knights 2 scoring 3 tries to 2. At the end going down Pretoria 22 – 46. Both teams having good potential at the clubs.
- Match 2: A big hard-hitting game as expected between last years semi finalists between youth and experienced players. This game went down to the wire where Vultures had the upper hand winning 46 – 30. Good new young talented players on both sides coming through.
- Match 3: Newcomers to rugby league the Knights got out the blocks fast scoring the opener. This game had everything from hard straight running lines to big tackles. The game was fast paced and went down to the bitter last minute. Grizzlies went to secure another win to remain the only unbeaten team in the league. It is always great to see all the young fresh new talent coming through the ranks. Well done to Grizzlies winning 44 – 26.
